Rogue Rage

After the 2004 tsunami in Thailand, I read a number of articles that indicate rogue waves are more common than we think. Like our worst nightmare, this wave in my painting attempts to convey the shear terror of that unfortunate event years ago. To me, the vertical wall of ghostly textures conveys a potential energy about to cause untold damage. It seems to be screaming.
